The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Euroculture distinguishes between two categories of students, each with different participation fees for the two-year (120 ECTS) programme:

• Students holding a passport from a European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA) country;

• Students holding a passport from a country outside the EU/EEA.

Participation Fees for 2027–2029

EU/EEA passport holders:

• €1,875 per semester with the standard Consortium Waiver (€7,500 for the entire programme).

• Without the standard Consortium Waiver: the official Consortium website currently lists €2,000 per semester and €10,000 for the entire programme. These amounts are inconsistent and are awaiting clarification.

The Consortium Waiver reduces the overall participation fee by €2,000. It is automatically applied to eligible EU/EEA students, except for those receiving a full scholarship covering living costs from sources other than the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship.

Study loans, partial subsidies and government grants do not disqualify students from receiving the waiver.

Non-EU/EEA passport holders:

• €5,000 per semester, including AON ICS Complete Health Insurance (€20,000 for the entire programme).

Non-EU/EEA students are not eligible for the Consortium Waiver.

Erasmus Mundus Scholarship holders:

• All participation fees are fully waived for Erasmus Mundus Scholarship holders, regardless of nationality.

What Is Included in the Participation Fees?

The participation fees cover:

• University registration, administration and diploma costs;

• Access to university facilities and student services;

• Joint thesis supervision;

• Participation in the Euroculture Intensive Programme (excluding travel costs);

• Support from the Euroculture Consortium Secretariat;

• AON ICS Complete Health Insurance, included by default.

Please note: Required literature, accommodation, living expenses, travel and fieldwork-related costs are not included in the participation fees.

Health Insurance

AON ICS Complete Health Insurance is included by default for students participating in the Euroculture programme.

Health insurance offered by the Consortium is obligatory for non-EU/EEA students. EU/EEA students with sufficient insurance coverage may choose not to take out the Consortium's insurance package, potentially reducing their overall fees.
