Euroculture offers places across our seven European partner universities available every year. Make sure that you:

• Applied through our Online Application Tool by the correct deadline;

• Made sure that all Required Documents are present in your application file.

Application Window 2027-2029

The application window for the 2027-2029 intake opens on 15 October 2026.  

Different application deadlines apply depending on whether you are applying for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship or as a self-funded student.

Key application deadlines:

• 15 January 2027 - Deadline for Erasmus Mundus scholarship applications.

• 1 May 2027 - Recommended deadline for self-funded applicants holding non-EU/EEA passports.

• 1 June 2027 - Recommended deadline for self-funded applicants holding EU/EEA passports.

Academic calendars vary slightly between European partner universities. Applying before the recommended deadlines will help ensure sufficient time for enrolment and, where applicable, visa arrangements.

If you apply after these dates, please keep the following in mind:

• EU/EEA passport holders should apply at least two months before the start of the semester to allow sufficient time for registration.

• Non-EU/EEA passport holders should apply at least five months before the start of the semester to allow sufficient time for registration and visa arrangements. Your chosen university will assist you with this process.

• Applications from self-funded candidates may still be considered after the recommended deadlines, but enrolment at your preferred university cannot be guaranteed.

Please note: Applicants for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship must have completed their Bachelor's degree by 15 January 2027 and provide official proof of completion. Self-funded applicants may apply before graduating, provided they complete their Bachelor's degree before the start of their Euroculture studies.

Application Procedure (2027-2029)

All applicants, whether applying for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship or as self-funded students, must submit their application through the Euroculture Online Application Tool.

The Euroculture Board of Admissions evaluates applications according to the programme's admission and selection criteria.

Erasmus Mundus scholarship applications must be submitted by 15 January 2027. Eligible applications will be assessed through a selection process that includes an evaluation of academic qualifications, application documents, references and an interview for shortlisted candidates. Scholarship results are expected to be communicated by the end of March 2027.

Self-funded applications will be evaluated on a rolling basis from the end of March 2027.

Applicants must provide contact details for two referees, at least one of whom must be an academic referee. Referees will be contacted directly and asked to complete a short questionnaire within two working weeks of application submission.

Shortlisted applicants may also be invited to a brief online interview as part of the admissions process.

_{The Erasmus Mundus Scholarship}

The Erasmus Mundus Programme supports high-quality international joint Master's programmes and promotes excellence, cooperation and mobility in European higher education.

We are pleased to announce that Erasmus Mundus scholarships are available for the 2027–2029 Euroculture intake!

These prestigious EU-funded scholarships support selected students from around the world in completing the two-year Euroculture programme.

The Erasmus Mundus scholarship includes:

• €1,400 per month towards living expenses for the 24-month programme (a total of €33,600);

• A full tuition fee waiver, covering the programme's participation costs;

• Health insurance during the programme.

To be considered for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship, applicants must submit a complete application by 15 January 2027 and fulfil all applicable eligibility requirements.

There is no separate scholarship application form. All candidates apply through the same Euroculture Online Application Tool.

Applicants who do not receive an Erasmus Mundus scholarship may still pursue the programme as self-funded students, subject to admission.

Erasmus+ Mobility Grants and Erasmus+ Placement Grants may provide additional funding opportunities for eligible self-funded students.

The Euroculture Admissions Board distinguishes between two kinds of admissions criteria:

• Primary Admissions Criteria 

• Secondary Admissions Criteria

The Primary Admissions Criteria refer to minimum requirements that have to be met by all applicants in order for an application to be successful. The Secondary Admissions Criteria refer to experiences and skills that will strengthen the overall quality of your application if you are in possession of them.
